It’s not often that I get to play with older cars in my collision shop. Had some fun with this 30’s Buick frame a while back. Apparently had been wrecked long ago, leaving a bit of a diamond in the frame. Had to break out ye olde centerline gauges to check it out. It took a LOT of pressure to get the tweak out of that thing. Four of us had all we could do to move it from the trailer to the frame machine and back.

This is my 1931 Pierce Arrow Model 42 Dual Cowl Pheton, the photo was taken in 1938. The car has been in our family since 1971. One of five known. 385 CID, 142 inch chassis.

Factory photo of the Cunningham factory in West Palm Beach Florida. Fantastic automobiles. I drive by the building to get to work every day. Until recently, it was totally unaltered and was still in the car manufacturing layout. Recently, it has become a 75 seat hair salon. Such is the fate of history. Always liked these cars.

Who doesn’t like big brass cars? I think I’ve only ever seen one Winton in person. I know very little about them but I acquired this great collection of Winton photos and sure wish I had one now. If anyone has any knowledge on the cars, please chime in.

1934 Packard Model 1104 with the optional 4X4 kit.

The Alfa Romeo 8C Monza is putting on an impressive display on the rolling road as it gets prepared for a race at Goodwood. Volume up! That sweet sound.

Not really car related but it's my day off.
I play with motorcycles too. Here's my own "not going to sell it, ever" machine.
This is a 1980 Moto Guzzi Lemans II
It's dressed up as a 1978 850 Lemans and has the factory race kit. Twin plug heads, Dyna ignition, LaFranconi exhaust, Bitubo fork cartridges, Works shocks, Tarozzi rearsets and Norman Hyde M handlebars.
The colour is from a Ferrari 275GTB that was in the shop for service. The bike was originally red but when I saw that car, I told my painter "Make it that blue!"
It's an uncivilized, loud, obnoxious, hooligan bike and I love it. #sgmechanicalservice #ifixstuffyoucant

Looking for a working glovebox light switch for a 1955 Buick.
It looks like this but with the plunger intact.
Please let me know if you can spare one or know where to find one.
Thanks.

For my first post, I thought I thought I’d share a couple period photos of one of the ultimate Hupmobiles. The model H and U of 1930-1932 shared the same 133hp 365ci straight eight. At the time of its introduction, the model H was touted as having the highest power to weight ratio of any mass produced car in the country. This is the model H five passenger sedan.
