This is my 1931 Pierce Arrow Model 42 Dual Cowl Pheton, the photo was taken in 1938. The car has been in our family since 1971. One of five known. 385 CID, 142 inch chassis.

@Edinmass Byard is going to look at a 29 Sedan next week painted but dissassembled and needs to be put back together. The engine was done and is running.

The one that Ed tried to get me to buy 15 years ago. Allen Strong ended up buying it and now its being restored by another owner. 1931 Model 41 Lebaron.

@Royale835Sedan I remember when Allen Strong had this car for sale. I think the engine was out? Very tempting!!!

And this one was a great barn find. Floated around to a couple of owners before being fully restored and shown at Pebble Beach.

@tom1980 - I chased this car for 30 years, and was the one who found it in a shed in North Carolina. Owner back then was very difficult to deal with. He died and the family ended up with less than half of my offer. It’s a fantastic car. 1932 New York Auto Show car.
