It’s time for another annual pilgrimage to Lime Rock Park this weekend. It’s been a Labor Day weekend tradition for my dad and I for close to 30 years now. We’ll be there for two days of racing and we’ll have both of our antiques in the Gathering of the Marques on Sunday. Looking forward to Alfa Romeo being the featured marque in the concours and to seeing the historic Trans Am group run. Anyone else going?

This is on offer by the Blackhawk collection, mid-restoration (no affiliation or vested interest). It is said to contain engine J241. I presume the body is new. Not sure about the frame and how much is present or missing. Out of curiosity is anyone here an expert who can comment publicly? I'm chiefly just curious. I figured these things get traded privately behind the scenes... There are more photos online if you find the ad.

Lewis Hamilton finally got his dream car,  a Ferrari F40 that had been sitting, covered in dust, in a garage for more than 30 years. Instead of just cleaning it up, he sent it back to Maranello for a full revival by Ferrari’s own engineers. Pretty incredible story behind an incredible car, which just so happens to be my favorite car of all time.

Wanna know why I love this car? Because even though it’s dead on the side of the road, still looks amazing.

Saw the 2027 Nissan Z in blue yesterday on the way home from the gym. Definitely look sharp. Twin-turbo and 400 horsepower. Definitely seems like a nice little sports car. All the reviews I'm seeing seem to be pretty positive. The Z has had quite the history and evolution. Good to see that it's still around.
