One of my customers is at the young age of 92 and was dropping his car off with me for repairs today. He’s an old car guy from way back and has stopped in before when my Hupmobile was parked out front so he could take a look at it. He was a Nash guy and has had a few of them from the mid to late 20’s. He had restored a big sedan at one point and sold it and still has the remains of another sedan and a roadster.

I knew I had photos of a Nash dealer with a roadster of about the same age as his so I was sure to show him today. His face lit up when I showed him the photos. Apparently he bought the roadster in 1951 and had driven it on a trip up to Mt. Washington before deciding to take it apart to restore and that never panned out. But anyway, I think it made both of our days. Here’s a guy that’s over twice my age and we were both relating over these cars.

Found this mysterious Weyman-LaGrande phaeton in the program for the Penn State concours from either 90' or 91'. Could this be the missing J-511? I don't think it could be the sister car J-562, as that car is cream and has been in single ownership for decades.

Needed new tires for my 2021 model 3 for the first time since acquiring the car a year ago. I recalled Costco had a tire shop so I investigated their tire options. They had at least 6 viable options ranging ~$216 and up. I ordered the best option and waited for my appointment the next week.

I chose midday-midweek, so it was busy on arrival. Once my car did get into the shop, the install took 30-45 mins. I imagine if I went at less busy time (who knows when that is when speaking of Costco), I would have been in and out in an hour. Still, got my bulk shopping done for the next 2 weeks and didn't have to pay an install fee! Would recommend.

Was lucky enough to see these two beasts this weekend. Two of the coolest designed cars I’ve seen in a while.
