I've always loved the 1970 Ford F-100. Perfection.
How sequential turn lights work in a car from 1967. Simple yet effective engineering.
One of these days I'm going to get one of these. Spent some time this afternoon reading through my original Owen Magnetic owners manual and parts catalog. The Owen Magnetic used an electromagnetic transmission to make the car move. There was no direct coupling between the engine and the driveshaft. Here is the sedan that is in the Tampa Bay Auto Museum.
Sightseeing in Puebla, Mexico and strolled into this auto museum. I didn't expect to see a vintage Bugatti in Puebla!!!
Spotted a Chrysler New Yorker. Can't believe how much room there is in the back seat and how long this is from fender to bumper.
Got to ride in my friend's 1983 Ferrari Mondial. Might not be the fanciest or most valuable Ferrari, but it sure is fun to drive.
A feel good story to kick off the weekend: Azul the vintage VW bus survived a Malibu wildfire and went viral. Volkswagen took on the challenge, restored it with help from the VW community, and brought it back ready for the next surf trip. A survivor story that hits all the right notes. https://apnews.com/article/blue-vw-van-california-wildfire-volkwagen-7931f76ceb03aa0d53b878d057ed686d
Fastest police cars In the world? Some of these machines are built for real service, but most work as marketing pieces for the national police force. They promote the brand and the badge, and they look cool doing it. Part showpiece, part patrol car, always fun to see up close.
A standout 1939 Rolls-Royce Phantom III V-12 Cabriolet carrying the final body created by Paris designer Henri Labourdette. Finished in 1947 with coachwork that topped 44K, it features his striking Vutotal windshield design. A remarkable one-off. #rollsroyce
