Third-generation trim shop specialising in Connolly hide, Wilton carpet and correct-pattern seat frames. Full interiors, hood and tonneau replacement, and headlining. They will match an original sample rather than guess. Turnaround on a full interior is eight to ten weeks.

Paint correction and preservation for older finishes, which is a different craft to modern clear-coat work. Single-stage and lacquer paint handled by hand, no rotary shortcuts. Also does concours preparation the day before a show, on site if you ask nicely.

Seattle's independent for Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat, plus general European servicing. Astrid Halvorsen's shop is the reason a good number of twin-cams are still running in the Puget Sound chapter. Honest diagnosis, sensible rates, and they will show you the failed part.

Crank grinding, block decking, head work and complete engine rebuilds for British and German cars. Air-cooled Porsche only, and unapologetic about it. 356 through 993, with a particular reputation for correct-specification 911 engine rebuilds and MFI pump setups. Nils Lindqvist has been doing this since 1984 and will tell you honestly if your car does not need the work. The waiting list is real; plan around it.

Wire wheel rebuilding, truing and re-spoking, plus a proper stock of period-correct tyres — Michelin XAS, Pirelli Cinturato, Dunlop Racing and Blockley. They will true a set of reproduction wires before fitting, which as several members have learned the hard way is not optional.
