Transmission cover installed.
Pedal shafts and upgraded band springs installed.
Ball cap bearing installed.
Oil screen with magnet installed.
Magneto post with accessory oil feed line installed.
Going to be ready for installation soon.

Wow!!! just shows you that not all great ideas are great ideas. at some point in time someone decided an electric water tank level gauge would be a good addition, so they fitted a standard gasoline tank level one, these have an open variable resistor, and water and an aluminium tank/parts and electrolysis takes place , serious corrosion
I was concerned how much of a nuisance it was going to be having immovable cars parked , I decided to take some heavy wall tubing and make so temporary axles to keep the cars movable, ali hubs with ball races and threaded RH and LH to take the Rudge Whitworth nuts
we have been machining components all week and almost have a complete carburettor as well as progressing well on the draft booster motors ( pics to follow on a separate post) This one is assembled using a new float bowl lid but an original float bowl, the new float bowls will be machined next week, but this shows that our remade parts are fully interchangeable with original parts

Normally this would be added to the existing topic on this car and I'll add to it later but I thought it deserved a bit of a splash. I bought this in 2014 and it was in pieces by 2015. Transport is showing up in 30 days to bring it to Pebble. Distributor is coming out tomorrow to go on the machine now that Ed Minnie found the distributor specs. I'll do a topic on that too.
For today it was up and down the driveway in 1st & R. It is 90 degrees out and I forgot to open the hood vents but it didn't go over 180 which is a good sign.
One off Duesenberg Model A on a shortened chassis. It's as attreactive and sexy as any thing in its era.
