Some would argue that the 1930 Packard 734 Speedster is THE Packard to own.  This one was sold by Gooding at Monterey last year and had been in the same family for 50 years.   These are fast and rare.  The "Speedster" moniker actually applies to the chassis and other bodies were available besides the boattail shown here.  This car sold for 1.545 million dollars.
