1967 Bizzarrini GT Strada 5300 Series I
One of those cars that just stops you in your tracks. Designed by Giotto Bizzarrini after he walked away from Ferrari, this thing is basically an Italian race car disguised as a road-going GT. Chevy small block up front, aluminum body, hand-built. Light, loud, and brutally fast for its time.
Not as well-known as the 250 GTOs or Miuras of the world, but it absolutely deserves to be in the same conversation. Just 133 built. This one’s a Series I—low production, early chassis, and all the raw character you’d expect from a boutique Italian GT in the ’60s.
One of my all-time favorites. Would love to hear from anyone who’s driven one—or even better, owns one.
