You can’t make this stuff up. Lucas actually mentioned darkness in this 1934 ad. 😂 Interesting that the inspection light could be plugged into a Lucas instrument panel. Whether or not it worked….

I'll admit that we never had any issues with our Jag or RR. I'm wondering if the Prince of Darkness moniker is because the system doesn't age well or doesn't overcome "tinkering" very well?

I have no issues with Lucas. You can rebuild their switches!

I’m sure it just comes from cars that have had hamfisted repairs or neglect and the blame gets shifted. The jokes are fun though.
