After working on whites for some years I decided that I should tackle some of the jobs that people said was impossible, the cranks had ball races ground into the crank and the outer race ground into the rods, when they wear they are impossible to do much with, this is the result of new billet roller bearing crank and rods, along with full overhaul. the White model OO from 1910 is in my opinion the finest steam car of that period

Great video Chris! I'm sure you saw in Jim Crank's book where he said the White was the best steam car ever built. It has the forward mounted engine with the transmission which allows neutral.
I guess we need to send our Whites to you when we buy one?

maybe AI we involved here? the condensers were Aluminium , polished on the 1909 model O and painted black on the 1910 OO this appears to be brass with a filler cap neither are on a OO.

I went through a brief window have having some change jingling in my pocket and @Edinmass really prodded me on this one. I think I was either the under bidder or one below. This car was in the Indy museum for decades but was really nice. I'm sure it needed the usually boat load of money for sorting so sometimes better to lose out.
