Welcome To All White Gasoline Car & Truck Owners - 1910-1925

Hello, I'm Ed Minnie and the founder of this page. I hope to get the White Steam Registry here also on it's own page and linked to this one. If there is interest in bicycles, sewing machines, school furniture, and other White Company Products including tractors, we will add an area for them. Please just ask. All my best, Ed Minnie West Palm Beach Florida/Springfield Massachusetts.

Below is my 1917 White GM 7 Passenger Touring, Body by Ruby. It has 9500 miles on it. Runs and drives fine.

A few years ago when I was visiting Ed we took this car out for a ride. It was a hoot. There are quality made cars with big engines. Very rarely seen or discussed. I'm happy Ed is providing a resource to the other White owners and a place for them to talk and collect technical data.

Great video! I think I know some of those roads getting to the Brightline terminal.

One of my first thoughts was that I know basically nothing about Rubay. Are you aware of any other White Chassis’s with a Rubay body?

Looking forward to learning more about White. When I hear the name I think of the tour busses they used at Yellowstone.

Thanks for setting this up Ed.
Here's the 1911 White that I get to take care of:

Tell us more about this car Shawn.

· 1w

Yes. I wonder if @Edinmass knows about it?

· 1w

Ed probably knows more about it than I do. It hasn't needed much attention from me yet.
The owner drives it regularly.

Yes, fantastic car. I was at the auction looking it over. If I remember right I bid several times. If memory is correct, it was Austin Clark's car at one time.

This car is so cool!!

I love the patina!!!

Ed, thank for sharing and starting this. I hope to see your car at some point. You gave me and others lots of entertainment taking us along for the ride when you brought that White home and sorted through it.

Ed graciously provided daily news and up dates that helped many A.A.C.A.ers Survive the isolation of the covid
time period. Providing a thourghal and thoughtful guide on how to properly revive a rare and ancient auto, from decades of long storage. Creating a mechanically rehabilitated vehicle while not destroying the wonderful patina and character of this rare car.
Also in providing a little history of the White company itself and receiving assistance in finding more literature from fellow forum users.
Even to the point of one member machining a new water pump drive shaft to aid in the restoration, and eventually leads to a second White Touring Car, that Ed was also able to rescue.
He is truely a great credit and asset to the Old Car hobby. I look forward to learning more from his posts.

Congratulations Ed on getting this site up. More love for the cars born in Cleveland. I will be sharing this site with my friend Aaron who purchased a 1912 White this year.

Looking forward to seeing how you fill out this site!

Ed, here are a couple of White photos for your collection. I really love the old pictures of the old Redwood forest and the cars from the early years in the same picture.

Thanks Chris! I'll put them in the gallery for @Edinmass who is mildly technically challenged.

You’re being nice 😊
