American Mercedes

Looking for info on the American built Mercedes. My understanding is that they had a factory from 1905-1907 before it burnt down. But today I stumbled upon the description of a 1913 Mercedes at MSI Chicago, witch says the factory was from 1909-1916, I assume this is an error and that the car is a import.

How many actual American made Mercedes were built? and do any survive besides the brown one owned by Mercedes-Benz?

70 HP in 1906?  Wow!  Do any of these cars exist?

I can comb through the newspaper archive if you have not done it yet and see if there is anything there.  Specifically later advertisements for American Mercedes.

I remember this one from Gooding Amelia back in 2024.  It sold for something like 10,000,000.   It is a 1903 Mercedes Simplex 60 HP.   Big car for 1903.   You would dominate at L to E.
