Something’s a little out of place here… I was on vacation in Maine last week the same time the Owls Head Auction was going. I was with my son and he says oh, I love that red Corvette. It was so low, I raised my hand! Whoops. 59,000 miles and all original.
Now, what do I do with it?

Nice. Post more photos. 88? 89? There are deals in those cars. Ad a friend that paid a fortune for a ZR1 back in 1989. Something like 110k 1989 dollars. He thought it would appreciate but they continued to make them. 40k buys a mint one these days.
It's a 1987 with a really cool digital dash and everything works! Drove it to the Beach house 2 hours away and drive it back to RI. Trouble free.

It seems that I’ve run into cars from your showroom all over the place. Saw the number 5 American with the Ragtime Racers last year.
...hopefully the '87 is somewhat conventional. I think the '84 and '85s had a 4-speed automatic with an additional overdrive on gears 2-4 so 7 speeds total maybe? I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly but it didn't sound like the best scenario yet I've never driven one.
I remember when the 84 was first introduced with those super wide tires. It looked like a spaceship compared to a C3.
Funny! The P255/50VR16 tires had the same impression on me. They looked twice as big as the last C2 in 82.
