One Shot: Hand-Painting a 1956 Ferrari 500 TR

We’re always thrilled when a new Petrolicious video lands in our inbox, and this one is awesome.

Petrolicious follows Bailey Clayton as he brings a 1956 Ferrari 500 TR back to its original Reims-winning look—one brushstroke at a time.

Just incredible craftsmanship and a deep respect for the car’s history. Give it a watch. This one is worth your time.

Fewer and fewer artisans like this around.  Back about 50 years ago I remember the striper that came in to the restoration shop.  He liked to drink and his hands would always be shaking.   Until he had a paint brush in his hand and then it was perfectly still.  He did amazing pin striping work.
