On a related note this was in the parking lot at hockey this morning. 340/Four Speed Dart. He drives it 25 miles to hockey 3 days week in the summer. Just sold his HEMI dart project to a friend.

No auto manufacture had as cool a stick shift as Mopar. This is a Polara I think? but the later tall pistol grips were crazy.

Hey! I had a Hurst Dual Gate in my 68 GTO. Never got it on the road so never tried it. I was way more interested in a four speed. And EVERYBODY called them his/hers.

There is a price drop off on Mopar from 70 to 71 with the newer bodies. However, this is a really nice car that I would love to have!

I just saw this Charger. When I was a kid most of them were brown with 318 engines and column automatics. Then they all disappeared. This one is super nice and I might become Charger Man if I owned it.

Great. Now I'm on a mopar hunt. I need another HEMI car. I drove my Charger home in 1989 about 30 miles, drove it to storage a few weeks later and never drove it again. Not much seat time. That car was the definition of a ground pounder. The driveway shook when you started it. That was a 68 so solid lifters. This is a 69 so Hydro, but you don't have to adjust them every time you take the car out for ice cream.
This thing checks ever box for me. 1 owner, four speed, decent colors, broadcast sheet, numbers matching. I can live with the vinyl roof.
