Lowrider custom paint and pin striping

Apparently, YouTube has decided I’m a lowrider guy now. My feed has suddenly become all about lowriders, custom paint, and pinstriping. I’ve watched enough of it at this point to admit… I’m pretty fascinated.

There’s an incredible amount of beauty and artistry in lowrider paint. The colors, the layers, the hand-painted details. Some of this stuff is genuinely stunning.

Impressive work. They make it look easy but that type of masking can be very stressful. One little loose end that isn’t stuck down well and you’ll get bleed-through and then you have a mess to fix. Custom jobs like that are just as much about patience as talent.

Amazing! That is a mental mind-game of "which piece of tape blocks what?" I wonder how many hours are incorporated.

A newer version of something very popular in the 60s and 70s.
