Cool Photos From the 1970s.

This came across my ebay feed and gave me some nostalgia as a guy that grew up in the 70s. The first 1/2 of the decade and the 2nd have are different for sure but there are undeniable triggers for me that bring me back. This hot rod pint reminds me of going to hot rod shows with my uncles. Do you have any cool photos from that era that trigger memories for you?

I was a kid in the 70s too and there are definitely more defining things to me than the 80s and 90s. I'll look around but I think I can contribute some photos.

Btw, the pinto is crazy. That much time and effort in to a Pinto???

The green shag rug definitely brings back memories of our living room.

Another one. We had dune buggies everywhere in the summer in the late 60s into the 70s. By 1980 they were pretty much gone.

That is a fancy dune buggy as dune buggies go. The ones we had were barely bolted to the VW sub panel they were sitting on.

What about this? Circa 1971 or so.

This needs to be copied over to the Firebird topic.

Hubcaps on a Camaro/Firebird is a rare sight.

My contribution. Photo taken in the mid 70s.

Last year of the chrome bumper was 71 I think?

Nothing says the 70s like a "Macho TA". There was a 6 month period where 3 of these came up for sale. You never see them. I think they made something like 60.

Colors are cool. Name is regrettable.

There is a Macho registry! There was one on BAT that caught my attention and I thought WTF is this? So I googled it.

I think the Macho Trans Am deserves its own topic!!!
