What is the general consensus about Peerless trucks? Should i adopt the role of Peerless club pariah? We have been rebuilding the first one of two for some years and are nearly there. The problem is that another project has reared its head which is very exciting and time is always at a premium.
Would love to hear more about the Peerless trucks. I know nothing about them. Were they built primarily for WWI?
Also, you can't be the club pariah. We have too many guys vying for tha role.
I know Great War Truck! A great promoter of the marque! On the AACA Peerless Forum, under Peerless Trucks, he's sent us some descriptions of incredible things, like how you press on solid tyres for a 4-Ton TC-4 truck. Lots of pics of the engine rebuilding, too. Even Ed from Massachusetts follows his progress on the lorry.
Apparently -- the British Isles are the hotbed of Peerless truck activity these days. Peerless made a hideous amount of money selling these trucks during the war....so it's an important part of the company history.

Great post, do share more and educate us. I see the Peerless trucks as a contemporary of the Riker trucks associated with Locomobile. I’ve been reading about the Riker truck contributions during the war effort.
