Had some stains on the radiator from a prior leak and tried a bunch of cleaners including WD-40. Nothing touched it. Finally tried dabbing white vinegar with a small paint brush! BINGO! See pics of before and after.
I like it. Maybe the acidity of the vinegar is exactly what was needed. I have some similar spots on my Locomobile and I can’t look at the front of the car without my eyes being pulled to the discolored area. Thanks for the tip! I’m going to give that a try.

I'm glad this worked out. I told @DuesyGuy to get a touch up brush and some black paint. Shows what I know.
