Visit to the Rivian Service Center

Spent yesterday at the Rivian Service Center in Raleigh, NC test driving both Rivian R1 vehicles.
Been a Tesla Model X owner for 5 years and I love that car — but it's starting to show its age. So I went to see what Rivian's been up to. Drove the R1T first (never owned a truck in my life) then the R1S — both felt massive coming from the Model X. On our way out, my wife and I hopped in the new R2S almost as an afterthought... and that's the one. Right size, real range (sorta), doesn't feel like piloting a barge.
We're seriously considering placing an order. Tesla might finally have some real competition.

A Rivian truck is not very big.  Much smaller than a 1/2 ton truck.  Sounds like you want something more similar to a mid-sized truck like a Ranger.

The blue color on the Reo looks really good - Pebble Beach likes the dark colors on the classics. Nice styling!
