Expansion at Gilmore

In a time where many museums seem to be stagnant and even closing, it is good to see the Gilmore pushing forward with obvious momentum. A 3.6 million dollar expansion project is beginning.

The Gilmore is a fantastic museum. I was there last month and got to walk the entire campus with @Edinmass and @DuesyGuy. I'll find some photos and post them. The Gilmore is the same concept as Rumbleseat. Collect all these smaller museums in one place and you get an economy of scale and cross polination.

The barns are fantastic.

Also, a lot of prewar cars at the Gilmore which makes sense given its history and Bill Parfet being a force behind it but some musclecars and other non prewar cars would be a good addition.

I love the analogy with rumble seat. Most of my friends have preferences within the hobby, but we can all appreciate great stuff, even if it is not our primary interest.
