As someone that worked in corporate American in the 1990s it is hard to overstate how accurate Dilbert cartoons described what was going on.
As for this car related cartoon - 100% accurate. Have a friend whose Grandfather was chief engineer at Lincoln and then Marmon. Henry Ford fired him because he was president of the ASAE. My friend could afford a collector no sweat (even an expensive one) and I floated the idea of getting one his grandfather designed. You would have thought I had 3 heads.

I’ve been telling AJ from day one that he made a terrible mistake not having us do online training on the four pillars of Deming’s TQM, and a nice succinct 700 page manual on Six Sigma, and then two independent agencies doing Myers-Briggs tests on us, and only then let us participate in the dialogue on rumblefeed
