New brakes getting installed on the 1929 Bentley Speed Six. Greg Porter is working hard on some long needed maintenance items on it.. Bearings, King Pins, Linings, etc... all needed work.. Ordered parts from England and brake shoes were re-lined by Chris at Industrial Brake and Clutch. See pics of rear brakes going back together!!!

A good example of a running driving car that need a bunch of delayed maintenance caught up on. Greg will do a good job.
Brakes look massive!

Back when even the parts you don't see were beautiful.

Word. These cars are definitely works of art. The beauty of this Bentley and the Model T you are working on is guys are making parts for them. Us REO Royale guys are out of luck.

That's one thing I tell people who want to get into vintage motorcycles.
Start with a British bike.
No matter what little, weird part you need. There's a gentleman with a lathe and a mill in his backyard shed who makes the thing you're going to need.
We had some parts made at the previous shop and the costs to tool up for casting would make your eyes water. Hopefully 3D printing will help with prototype costs now.

It used to be that way for RR also. Fiennes had a website where you could order 90% of the car. They got bought out by VC and were bankrupt with 3 years. Such a shame.

Eckler's seems to be doing that in the USA.
Buy up smaller companies, halve the quality and put people on the phones who have no clue about what you're working on.

Righteous! A Weymann Body, No?

It is a VDP replica body. So fabric like Weymann.
