More 1911 Model T progress.
Mocked up the pedals from the non-starter transmission cover in the new cover. Even though "They're all the same" some adjusting and massaging was necessary to make everything work smoothly.
This transmission has easy-adjust band adjusters installed. These allow the bands to be adjusted from the outside without needing to remove the service cover. This will be a big help during break-in.
Seals, o-rings and roll pins installed, cotter pins installed and the transmission cover is ready to install.
Gaskets and felt seal are on and ready for final assembly.

Shawn will explain it. Model T has a 2 speed planetary transmission that if you don't know what you are doing it will run you through a wall.

The pedals from left to right are (C)lutch (R)everse and (B)rake.
Depress the clutch firmly for low gear. When you want high gear, move the hand brake lever fully forward and take your foot off the clutch pedal to engage high gear. Pull the hand brake to the middle position for neutral.
Depress the reverse pedal firmly for reverse.
Depress the brake pedal firmly to engage the driveshaft brake in the transmission.
Move the handbrake lever fully backward to engage the parking brakes in the rear wheels.
