I didn’t have any sound on the video so I’m not sure, but does this particular Merlin engine have the supercharger as well?

I couldn't hear audio either. Here is a video where you can hear it. Definite whining sound. Looks like a death trap.

They actually confirmed my suspicions in that video. It was the naturally aspirated tank engine version. The supercharged Spitfire version was something like 1700 hp, I thought.
