What could possibly go wrong with this idea? I’m not sure that having the wings and tail section of an aircraft removable in five minutes is a particularly good thing. I would think that you’d want to have to work a whole lot harder to get those two pieces to come apart. Also, the removal of the propellor while in car mode takes some of the fun out of it. How else would you mince cyclists that refuse to move over?

A bad idea that has been around for a while.

All James Bond would have to do is push a button and it would all fold out automatically.

The Man with the Golden Gun!!! Good movie.

He also only had to press a button to turn the car into a submarine. But if I were going underwater, and my life depended on it, I would for damn sure not start with a Lotus.

😂

I think the personal drones might be a better bet. This isn't a bad video.

A Canadian, Paul Moller, the guy who invented the Supertrapp muffler has been sucking money out of investors for the last 40 years, trying to build a flying car.
The laws of physics still apply to everyone.

I agree Shawn. Feels like they are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist.

There have been a lot of attempts at this and none have gone very far. Forgetting about the mechanics of the car/plane. To use the thing you need a runway. If you look at where 75% of the population of the US lives it is too congested for personal runways. And if you are using an airport, a straight plane solves the problem in a more efficient and better fashion.
