Its actually shocking how much money they bring.
My wife loves these things. She will never get one. They do well just like vintage land cruisers do. Basically indestructible 4x4. The Mercedes is a luxury version of the Toyota. I would expect this blue one to do very well. Color is great.
Land Cruisers bring a lot of money but nothing compared to the G-Wagon. But I get your point.
@TomLaferriere looked more comfortable driving the 100 year old Bentley.
Tom is only comfortable when driving a car with a crash box and no power steering and weak brakes.

Former neighbor had one of these. His wife drove it mostly. They had some money. I like them but for 1/3 the money I'll take the Toyota.
I've been watching them too as my wife likes them and we seem to see more and more of them around. I don't see the swb versions much and perhaps for that reason there seems to be a high (overpriced?) interest in them. The engine from the G320 is good but as a straight six is not as responsive albeit less complicated then their V-8s. The one to watch for is the AMG version G36 (not G63). This was a limited edition, chiefly sold to Japan, but LHD with a hot cam and pretty respectable 0-60 time and bragging rights that you'll not see another. They came in some odd colors but again you can say you have 1 of 1 of something. BAT is good at showing results for these but occasionally the results are higher than expected when two people get into it....
Always amazing to me the amount of knowledge we have floating around. I've come to the conclusion these are chick's cars as my wife cares about no cars but I showed here this one and she said "buy it for me".
I like these also. Toyota Land Cruiser is similar but this has the Mercedes mystique.
62,500 with one day to go. If it sells at that price it is a huge bargain from what I have seen for prices.
