This is 100% accurate. A substantial number of my friends came through online car forums. Most I've met in person eventually, but some I never have. And the last line is a riot!

My wife likes to walk by if I'm on a car site posting/reading/reacting to something and say "Are you talking to your virtual car friends".....and she has a little attitude in her voice when she says it 😄.........but I know the truth. She's happy because it makes her feel less guilty about her time on Insta, Neighborhood feeds, FB, etc..... I'm actually doing her a favor by having online car buddies...........!
