Among his most notable cars were three Mercedes 300 models: a 300 SL Gullwing, a 300 SL Roadster, and a 300 SC. The 300 SC was especially prized by Gable, who was famously reluctant to let anyone else get behind the wheel.
I question how many of the cars Clark Gable was pictured with he actually owned. I think many were simply loaned for publicity.
@alsancle There must be two dozen cars assocaited with Clark Gable and I agree, not sure he owned all of them.

Thr Gull Wing was his, and is in the Myers collection in LA. Very low miles, and his name tags are still on the fitted luggage. Impressive automobile.
