This is the kind of paint work that I love doing. I’ve always liked the challenge of matching primer colors, gloss level, seam sealer, etc. and trying to make it look like it never happened. Nobody will likely ever see it, but I know, and that’s good enough for me.

Side impact to the left front fender? How much of the sheet metal has to be replaced?

@alsancle This was an odd hit. Somehow the bumper took most of the hit on the end and mostly missed the fender. Fender just had a little tweak on the front. They make the fender aprons weak on purpose so if the impact misses the bumper rebar, they’re pretty soft in that corner. It’s all boxed in high strength steel but super thin so once it gets kinked, it’s scrap. It’s always a shock to people when they think they only need a bumper and then $10-15k later….
