This year at Pebble Beach, the cars of the 1934 Chicago's World Fair will be on display in a special class. The first time in history they will be all in one spot. Below is an article on the train at the fair. It was powered by a V-16 Cadillac engine. Enjoy!

Not a lot of info out there on the autotram. The back of this card give some specifics. Mentions the V16 but does not say Cadillac.

I'd love to have been able to attend one of the late 1800 early 1900 World Fairs. Says it was in service for 7 months but not where. On rails, but....40 people at 150ea is 6000 pounds. Even out of lightweight materials it had to be heavy, and pushing a whole bunch of air...100mph is something I might have to see to believe. Back in a day when new technology was very visible, a lot of fun to watch.
