1908 Ford Model S.
Repaired the original Heinze key switch and replaced the missing key.
Greased the chassis and transmission.
These use a two-speed, epicyclic transmission similar to the Model T except that it doesn't share the oil system with the engine.
The transmission is open and every so often, you remove the plugs and pump some grease in.
The gears then sling the grease all over the undercarriage and the road.
As a result, it's probably one of the first cars with a dynamic chassis lubrication system. #sgmechanicalservice #ifixstuffyoucant #ford #modelsford #prewarcars #mobilemechanic
