So true. And now I'm seeing more 'earth tones' like sand, stone, concrete, trail dust (Toyota) and other boring safe colors.

If you look at 1970 it might be worse. We are heading to a colorless world it seems.

I've done three. I really didn't want the red one but it was such a cream puff. I thought the silver one was a cream puff until I ran it through a car wash and half the paint washed off.

@alsancle So the red one is the one with the rust popping? Of course, has to be the most expensive color combination to fix. 😀

Yeah, tell me about it. The black, white, gray, silver monotony is my daily color matching hell loop. But now the occasionally throw in some bizarre pastel like this.

@TeslaFan01 Correct me if I"m wrong but every Tesla is painted white and then you pay extra for any other color? And they respray it. And every year they swap out one color?

@alsancle Really? That’s definitely not the norm in the industry. I would expect them to run a batch of cars of the same color through at the same time. But then I know nothing about how Tesla does it or the cars in general.

Tesla paints every car white. Then you pay for other colors sprayed on top. They rotate special colors in and out. They just announced these two blue colors.
