More low drum work on the 1911 Model T.
Rivets are installed and then set with an air hammer. This can be done with a press or a ball-peen hammer as well.
Once the rivets are set, they're machined flush with the thrust surface of the gear and drum.

Ford was always making little improvements but the transmission didn't change much.
A change from thrust washers to a shouldered bushing was made sometime in the teens.
In 1919 (I think) Electric start was added which necessitated a change in the transmission cover and flywheel.
In 1926 the brake drum and band were made wider as cars got heavier.
Sometime along the way Ford introduced bands with detachable ends to make band changes possible through the service cover.

About 40mph. Enough to be scary with only a driveshaft brake and parking brake on the rear drums.
