By popular demand, I have joined RumbleSeat. Thanks for the nudge @alsancle ! Above all, I have a love for unrestored survivor cars. Here is (one of) my 1931 Franklin Deluxe, all original with only 17,000 miles. I am the third owner. I chased this car for 5 years until I was finally able to buy it from the daughter of the second owner. It was recently returned to running condition. Still some work to do but it is just the way I like them!

I love Frankin cars!!! My father had a 1932 short coupled sedan. So cool!

@DobleDude Your dad's car was a 1932 163 Club Sedan Serial No.63-208679L30 He sold it to Neil Kissel in California around 1999 and then it got sold to the Webb Family who still own the car today

@DobleDude Here is your dads car from our club magazine!
@mattgoist Crazy you knew that!

@tom1980 what can I say, Franklins are my thing! 😅😄

Thanks for posting Matt. I love everything about this car. Colors, condition, etc. You are hoarding all the cool Franklins. I may need to join the club.

@alsancle There are a few good ones coming to market, I can let you have one! My favorite things about this car are the condition, colors, and rear mount/artillery wheels. Really does it for me!

@mattgoist Thanks Matt. I'm a little low on cash right now. While you are here, go join the doble society and make Perry happy:

@alsancle Already did!
Sweet! Love the patina.
Is this a model 153?

@Ralph71 Yes sir, 153

Welcome Mr. Goist 😎

Matt, I love it . I hope to be a Docent at Tom Hubbards Franklin museum when I retire out that way. Which will require me to buy a Franklin (This is the story I'm telling my wife)......Yours has a refined elegance. We want pics of it next to "any other Franklin thing you have lying around".

@JohnBloom You would be a great docent! But you need the car first to give yourself credibility.

@alsancle
You can't show up at a pickup baseball game and not bring your glove. I want to intrduce myself to the Tucson Franklin gang driving up in something Mr Hubbard would be proud of....I have a list of Franklin's that would fit that bill. To all who haven't been to Tom Hubbard's Franklin museum, find an opportunity to see it. Tucson is a quick 100 miles south of Phoenix if any activities take you out that way. It isn't open year round, so check ahead.

@JohnBloom well now that the boys got me active on here I’ll have to do a little more posting ! More to come :)

Just saw this. What a great car! Love the colors, wheels, patina. Perfect!

@BillSmith thank you!

Welcome, @mattgoist! Pleasure to have you. And what an amazing bio you have.

Just saw this. I love this car. Lucky guy!

@Royale835Sedan thank you! Good looking Royale you have! I’ve driven a few, they are amazing cars!

@mattgoist Matt, join the Royale club if you have not already.

Incredible. What an awesome car and what great photos! Thanks for sharing this with us.

Love the wheels and rear mount spare. Typical for Franklin?

@dj1970 by 1931 side Mount and wires were actually more typical, but these are out there! Fun fact, ALL of the Dietrich Speedster Franklins are rear mounted spares. Ray Dietrich really knew what he was doing. Isn’t that right @alsancle 😛
@mattgoist I like the look of the single rear spare Gives the hood a longer appearnce.

@mattgoist do you know this one? From Hershey a few years ago.
