Tesla is sitting on a record 50,000 unsold EV. Seems like this might actually work out in the benefit of Tesla. If gas prices keep increasing, more and more consumers may turn to EVs. It will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out. All the news on this paints a grim picture, but in my mind this could end up being a 4D chess move.

I'm sure the elimination of the subsidy and the political stuff have hurt them but they are still doing pretty well. The Model Y was tied with the RAV4 in 2025 as the best selling car in the world. Even with those headwinds.
All in all it was not a bad year considering some of the headwinds. Still disappointed with the canceling of the S and X.
Not doom and gloom at all. They are still way ahead of the other EVs in terms of their software and that is the biggest deal to me. The probably need to stay ahead of the styling stuff more and do better than minor updates every 8 years as consumers tend to want distinction. But what do I know?
Don't own one but I have a neighbor with what I think is a Y? Got a ride. It was crazy.
