Interesting. 500 mile range in the long range model. 30 minutest to 60% charge. Center driver is for aerodynamics. 300 built to date.

I need to ask my retired long haul trucker uncle what he thinks of this. A diesel truck is good for 1000 miles between fill ups.

If I understand correctly the big win is total cost per mile. The Tesla is twice as "fuel" efficient and the maintenance is substantially less. Clearly the range is a problem and I suspect these will initially be used for regional shipping. Also, the charging infrastructure for a semi with trailer is not there.
