Closed cars were rare prior t0 1920. And much more expensive. Did Norman make it back ok?

@Miles1978 He got married, joined the Army, went to Europe, and returned.

The family had a large factory for a century manufacturing scissors and shears...and were able to afford this $5,500 car if it was a Model 27, 30 h.p. four...it looks more like a Model 28, 50 h.p. six at $7,000.
