At the time of the car's launch it was the most powerful Porsche for the road ever built. It has no electronic helpers which gives it the nickname "the widowmaker".
@Royale835Sedan I could be wrong but I think the "widowmaker" label was attributed to all the 930 turbo cars because the handling was unpredictable. I need to google this. This particular model is basically a racecar in street trim.
I get allure, but I'm a fan of the earlier simpler version of the 911. Buddy had a 912 when I was in college and even that was fun to drive.
