Wife and I were in southern California back in 2016 and spent the morning at the Nethercutt Museum. Well worth a visit!!

Cool. Has been on my bucket list forever. Do you know what the dark car in the last photo is?

Love the V12 Franklin!

@BillSmith Yes, that Franklin is cool as can be. They only built about 100 V12 Franklins. Often refered to as the "Bankers car" as it was built while Franklin was under the control of the banks.

@alsancle
Tom Hubbard’s Franklin museum in Tucson has a nice one.

@JohnBloom John, I think there was only 3 body styles with the 2 door victoria being the sporties. Maybe 2 or 3 of those cars exist? They are huge when you stand next to them.

@JohnBloom One has been on my bucket list forever, but probably won't happen. They trade quietly.

@alsancle They are huge and have a presence about them. The profile is perfect. I've been looking at the one in Tucson 1-2 times a year for 20 years. I can imagine that those who have one have a list of interested parties to call if they want to give theirs up.

@JohnBloom I think its one of those things where you need to be a club guy for a long time and form the relationship with the owner. This car was advertised for sale on the AACA forum 10 years ago and it sold in 24 hours. I was visiting a friend in Texaas a year later (who has 100 plus cars) and it was sitting in his museum. Here it is at Amelia a few years ago.
