Another good article on the demise of the Model S and the Model X. Those two models combined have been only around 1.2% of total deliveries. Tesla as well as other EV makers are shifting to cheaper models.

As someone who aspires to a S Plaid I find this depressing.
The "S" is almost 15 years old now? I would say they did pretty well with that design and it was the car that launched Tesla. Started the trend of attractive EVs after decades of very ugly designs.
I'm not in the market for an EV, but if I was it would be the "S" so I get the disappointment.

I see on Facebook all the "S" owners think the used prices are going to go up now. Not sure I see that but maybe a momentary bump?
@Miles1978 My buddies with "S" cars all think they are going to make money. Maybe. Might give a sales bump to Tesla for these cars going in to June.
Makes sense from a business perspective but the car guys are gonna be disappointed.
I'm not EV guy but if I was I would buy an "S".
