Most car guys have heard of the front wheel drive Cord. Either the L29 or the 810/812. Many have heard of the Ruxton, but how many of you know that Hupmobile built a FWD car in 1932? The body was built by Budd and the shifting was via pneumatic cylinders. Only a single car was ever built.

Odd looking design.

@BLK-10001 Considering how cool a L29 and Ruxton look they sort of fumbled the ball on appearence.

Now that is a rare car!!!

Wheels look too small, maybe the tires are wrong? Check out the solid front axle.

That is an engineering novelty for sure with that straight axle up front. It is good it survived.

The owner of this car had quite a few cool Hupmobiles. It was offered for sale quietly a couple of years ago and the ask was quite high. Don't know if it actually sold. The small hood is a turn off to me but the uniqueness of the car makes it worthwhile.
