Interesting Pierce Arrow just posted (by me) to the Marketplace. A largely original V12 club sedan which has been partially disassembled. Ask is 39k. Thoughts?

I like this car. Looks mostly original and hopefully complete. I guess the 100k question is how good is the engine?

I like this. Clearly the engine is the big question. That is not a trivial rebuild. Would like to see more and better pictures.

Agreed on the engine. Would be interesting to get more pictures.

I saw over on the AACA forum that Ed Minnie was calling this a lottery ticket based on the engine. I think that is a good way to look at it.

@Royale835Sedan Lottery ticket is the way to see it.

Interestingly, any Pierce 12 must be inspected to be sure the car was born as a 12. One ALWAYS assumes it was converted until proven otherwise. I have never seen or inspected this car, but when looking at the details......it needs to be vetted by an expert. And there are probably only five guys left that are qualified to make the determination.

@Edinmass Was this car in the club? Do you know anything about it?

@Miles1978 No clue, but I see things that make me say caution, and have someone look at it.
