1959 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster. The Gullwing Coupe gets all the attention, but the roadster is just as glamorous and you can drop the top and let that straight-six sing. Same icon energy, with sunshine included. Absolutely love this car.

I got to drive one of these just once but it gave me religion. For collecting the gullwing is cooler but for driving these roadsters are much better cars. The gulling is tough to get in and out of and will cook you on a warm day.

These are fantastic cars. The only thing faster in the 1950s you could buy were practically race cars.
