1966 is my favorite year also. Although 67 is very similar in appearance they dropped the tri-power.
My grandpa had a 1970 I think. Need to go find a picture of it.
In my HS there were more Chevelle's than GTO's. Personally the 66 SS was my favorite. So I guess 66 was a good year for GM musclecars.

@69GoatMan A 68 that I bought out of junkyard like an idiot. Had to borrow money from my girlfriend to do it. I think it was 400 bucks. It ran ok. My old man almost threw me out of the house when I stuck it inthe driveway. Sold it to a friend who sold it another friend and it broke in half being dragged on to a roll back.
