This is a photo of a very rare LHD Silver Wraith Park Ward drophead. They made 4 of these. California registration says 1956 which makes the car new and the family very lucky. Also pictured is my family from 1968 with our black Silver Wraith drophead that my dad bought as a 4 year old used car off the roof of Inskip in 1964. The original price was 29k USD. New Cadillacs were around 6k. In our picture my youngest brother had not been born yet.

Two different lucky families for sure.

Cool photos!

Btw, our photo was taken at Whalom Park in Lunenberg Massachusetts. One of the old time trolley terminus parks built to spur traffic on the trolley line. It was torn down for condos maybe thirty years ago. Last time I was there was around 1985 with my girlfriend. I distinctly remember almost getting sick from the ride where you stand in a big vertical tube along the walls which spins fast and pins you to the wall and the floor drops off like 4 feet below you.

@alsancle My grandparents lived in Fitchburg Mass and we would visit them every summer. I went to that park at least a 1/2 dozen times. The wood roller coaster was terrifying because you thought it would blow in to a million pieces.

@alsancle Shame. All those small amusement parks are mostly gone now.

@69GoatMan Tell me about it! I think I only went on the Coaster a few times because it always had the longest line.

Here is a better photo of the car. Me as a 1 year old. Visiting my grandparents in Akron Ohio.

@alsancle Sweet!

Great photos. Interesting to see the same car in white and black and contrast how different they look.

@BuickGuy68 I'll take black please!
