A photo of a 1970s Stutz Blackhawk taken in 1974. The car may have been brand new at this point. The very first cars in 1971 had a split windshield. I have always liked these although they have nothing in common with the prewar Stutz.

A Virgil Exner designed custom body from Italy and I like the first ones with the split windshield. Although only 35 or so were made.

I'm a mild fan. Definitely better than the stuff that followed in the 1980s. Here is a good review of the history.

Buddy owned one of these in the 80s. His was not split windshield, I don't think. Interior was plush but build quality was suspect.
