The 1938 Phantom Corsair feels like a concept car that escaped the future. Built by Rust Heinz (yes, that Heinz) with coachbuilders in Pasadena, it even helped inspire the first Batmobile . Underneath are Cord 810 bones: Lycoming V8, preselector gearbox, independent front suspension, and front wheel drive. All aluminum with cork insulation, no exterior trim, and switches instead of door handles. A true one off.
