This Super Hawk was one of the two display models at the 1963 New York Auto Show and was purchased by a private party through the Helms Brothers Studebaker dealership immediately after the show.

Mrs. Emanuel wanted the one with the Red interior and the 289 cu in V-8 with 290 Horsepower and a Paxton Supercharger. It had 55 miles on it at the time the Emanuel’s purchased it April 8th, 1963.

It remained with the Emanuel family until the mid 1980’s when it was purchased by the second owner, also a New Yorker. He performed a mechanical restoration including a complete engine and supercharger rebuild and refurbished or replaced some cosmetic items to bring it back to its full glory. Documentation is included.
